About fdDailyWhy I have this contribution to mindless musingThis website used to be a constant summary of my day's events. Sure, it was narcissistic and sad that I assumed everyone wanted to know about my day and the things I did. But it was cool. People came to appreciate the spin I'd put on life, and the jokes I'd throw into my smashing reviews. The content flowed like bottled water from the shelves of your favorite convenience store. It was wonderful. I added site features (the bark board and fecal roster debuted back in those days) and updated near daily. Well, now, I want that portion of my site back. I think I've grown to love the mainstream more than anything - but I don't always have the vision required to build a huge and socially appealing (or argumentative) piece for the masses. So what's my resort? Go back to offering great summaries of my days events, things and people encountered, quotes overheard during the day, and anything else I want. Call it my journal. Call it fdDaily. ~ Colin McCloskey, July 2001
